Sisters of the Wilderness was chosen by Amnesty International Durban Chapter for a special South African Women’s Month screening.

The film was selected because it highlights the threats to nature and the rural communities around the Hluhluwe-iMfolozi park from unsustainable coal mining and illegal hunting of the rhino.

Amnesty International youth groups from high schools and students from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in Durban were invited.

Five hundred young people are expected to attend and special guests.

After the screening there will be a Q&A session with the young women who feature in the film.
